"Just as the waters of the great oceans all have one taste, the taste of salt,
so too, all true teachings have but one taste, the taste of liberation."

Stop managing. Start evolving. Nurture your soul seeds this Samhain season!

Some of us feel it—the quiet stirrings that life can be deeper, more luminous, more whole. This season of thin veils and growing darkness invites deeper listening for those seed dreams that wait on the mysterious edges of our lives.

In my work personally and professionally I see the fruits of that listening every day. Sometimes it takes months for a dream to manifest (i.e. for me to go from living in a state of so called "permanent disability" and chronic pain to living pain free and able bodied again), sometimes it takes years (like discovering and changing the pattern of attracting relationships with emotionally unavailable men), sometimes it only takes a matter of hours or days, and sometimes there are many more and unexpected layers that emerge in the process of arriving at the root of the pattern that keeps the seed locked shut), but what I have found is that we have incredible power in this process a power which has everything to do with how well we nurture these seeds, and the power of our nurturing has everything to do with the state of health in our nervous systems, which then give us freedom to expand the circumstances of our lives.

If we don't water and nurture the seeds of our soul, it's easy for them to stay dormant and get crowded out by other things in the garden of our life. And if we don't cut through the noise and find those seeds, we don't even know how to nurture them.

The dark season is a good time to drop into deep time, cut through the noise and LISTEN. And when we do, seeming "miracles" (which are actually just the sprouts of our seeds taking shape in the world, thanks to our attentiveness) begin to emerge.

Here are some stories of clients I've worked with who had the courage to make a change in their life that was seemingly small, but in the direction of their soul's dream, and were met with the reward that comes from taking risks to cut through the noise (the glass ceiling that keeps us doing things in the same old habitual ways as ever, identifying our world at a certain bandwidth with no leverage to grow.)

Stories of Courage & Transformation:
  • One client who was afraid to ask her boss for time off did so anyway—and got company card rewards points to cover her plane ticket. Courage opened a door she hadn’t even known was there.
  • Another joined the Sanctuary without knowing how she’d pay—and manifested a new job within weeks. Trust called forth opportunity.
  • A member asked her father to contribute to her healing, and the frozen currents between them softened. Asking boldly can transform old patterns.
  • One client took the risk of jumping into a new career path as a mom of two despite her partner working full time, and the relationships between her husband and children have actually warmed and flourished in the aftermath of her choice. Ambition, when it's truly sacred calling, brings us closer, not farther from the ones who truly love us.
  • Another client chose herself over staying in a marriage, despite the fact that her health challenges caused her to doubt her ability to live on her own—and after making this choice, her body cleared a layer of Lyme disease. Choosing you is a ripple that moves through the cells.

Wisdom Nuggets
  • Uproot, don’t manage: Patterns are seeds waiting for transformation. When we step into alignment with our nervous system and the evolutionary path, the ones in line with our dharma bloom—and the ones that are not release. Something greater takes hold of our life, and we're no longer caught in a holding pattern.
  • Leverage your own magic: It’s not that you lack Y; it’s that you haven’t yet discovered how to use X—your creativity, courage, awareness, and the resources you already have within and around you—to bring it into form. When we're not evolving, we're not curious, and we don't have eyes to see the doorways of possibility that are waiting all around us.

See today's video message for more on what transformation actually means, what it can do for your life, and how to begin to actually work with the blueprint (your nervous system) that can rewrite the script.
