I’m writing to you today from a new threshold. After weeks of sending newsletters that may never have reached your inbox, I've just spent a chunk of hours working to troubleshoot, refine, align—so that what I send might arrive to your inbox and not your spam. In the event you've wondered where I'd gone, I was sending out my signals but they were being directed elsewhere: a lesson for me in taking the time to slow down and check in with the wires, sorting them through, before proceeding.
This metaphor is precisely relevant to the healing work that involves growing the nervous system. If you ever feel like you're cruising along, and suddenly you feel halted, take heart. For it is often not that you've gone off track, but that the track (and you) need an update, a re-arranging within, so that on the other side you can process all of the complexity you've been managing with more ease, more clarity, more transparency, and more authenticity. I’m talking about the deep work of clarifying our signal in this life. It can be painful when our most honest efforts—our truest offerings—don’t seem to land. When what we say, do, or try to give gets misread or missed altogether. When we sit with our longing and wonder if anyone is receiving us at all. But there is a power in holding strong through the limbo. In letting go of polish and performance but not collapsing or retreating. In bravely unmasking and claiming oneself in a way that is raw and true. I believe in showing up as we are. I believe in facing into the fog and holding our own trembling hand through it. I believe in becoming the lighthouse that doesn’t just shine, but listens. Feels. Waits. Knows. The truth is: I’m here with you, in this moment of immense transformation. I’m not watching from the shore—I’m walking it, wave-soaked and wind-stung and wide open. And I want my messages to meet you not as instructions, but as companionship. As rhythm. As real. So if this reaches you, thank you. If something in it stirs you, let it. And if you’ve been walking through the fog too—know that I see you. Let’s keep walking each other home.
